Donation to ALS Foundation after replacing smartphones Wegenwacht

Last June, the Samsung A8 in use by the Wegenwacht was replaced by the Samsung A52. Meanwhile, the Partner Companies' Samsung A50 has also been replaced by the X Cover Pro.

The old Samsung A8 and A50 devices were collected and offered to the ITdonations foundation after the roll-out of the new smartphones. After first securely removing all data, ITdonations provided a nice residual value. This yielded the handsome sum of €4,904.25. Eva-Marie Beij, director of Wegenwacht has now presented these proceeds to Stichting ALS Nederland on behalf of the Wegenwacht.

Nice that the Wegenwacht contributed to a good cause in this way!

Moreover, the old smartphones are given a second life, which also saves a lot of CO2! Smartphones that are no longer usable are destroyed in an environmentally responsible way and converted into as many reusable raw materials as possible.
