Cookies and similar techniques

What are cookies?

Cookies are small, simple text files that your computer or mobile device stores when you use our website.

What are similar techniques?

JavaScript and web beacons are standard Internet techniques that, together with cookies, allow a system to collect information (JavaScripts), store it in small, simple text files (cookies) and then send it (web beacons). Cookies and other techniques are used on almost all existing websites.

Why do we use these techniques?

We use these techniques primarily to ensure that:

  • You do not receive or have to enter the same information every time you visit our website;
  • We can measure how our website is being used and where we can improve it in order to serve you better;
  • We can show you advertisements and recommendations based no your interests;
  • We can record how often an ad is shown in order to better tailor the ads to your needs and interets and thus prevent you from seeing the same ad over and over again.

What types of cookies do you use?

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Functional cookies

We use these cookies so that our website can function properly. For example, saving your shopping cart or the products you have viewed.

  • Analytic cookies

With analytic cookies we collect statistics about the use of our website by visitors with the help of third parties. By measuring this website usage, we can continue to develop our website for the benefit of our visitors.

  • Advertising cookies

These cookies allow us to recognize visitors to our website on other websites (think social media, blogs, search engines, etc). Based on this data, we can show the most relevant ads to them. There are also third parties that make use of these types of cookies from our website. Below are the parties this relates to.

Which cookies do you use?

  • Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies - files stored on your computer that allow analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by these cookies is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We use IP anonymization, which means that your IP address is shortened within the European Union and all contracted states in the European Economic Area before it is sent to the US. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to the Google server and then abbreviated there. Google uses this information on behalf of the website owner to analyze your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website use and internet usage for the website owner. The IP address provided by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings. If you wish, you can also prevent Google from collecting and processing the data (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in here.

  • Google Remarketing

We use Google Remarketing, a service provided by Google to integrate advertisements into websites. For this purpose, information about your browsing behavior is collected anonymously when you visit neg-itsolutions.nl and stored on your computer using cookies. With this information, external advertisers such as Google can display suitable ads on other web pages. You can opt out of Google's use of cookies by clicking on the following link: Google advertising privacy and terms. Please refer to Google's privacy policy for more information about Google technologies.
