How does ITdonations work?
ITdonation’s work method aims to create lasting relationships. By making clear and transparent
arrangements about the frequency of removals we are able to achieve a higher revenue from the equipment we collect. Our operating procedures include 5 well-defined steps:
- Intake interview
We visit your organisation and discuss issues such as
procedures, registration, reporting and value assessment with you. The arrangements we make are then formalised in a donation agreement and a procedure for removing and donating hardware. We also jointly establish the good cause of your choice..
- Logistics
In accordance with the arrangements made, we collect the ICT equipment, register all assets, remove all data, record the history and take care of processing your equipment.
- Reporting and certification
You receive a report from us (see reverse side) that tells you exactly which equipment you have handed over as well as its status and value. You can use this report for your administration. We also provide you with all relevant data removal certificates.
- Approval
After the equipment’s value has been assessed, we ask you to authorise the amount involved to be transferred to the good cause in question. Should you disagree, the equipment will be returned to you. The transport costs incurred will be charged on.
- Payment towards your good cause
The payment made to the good cause of your choice is taken care of by ITdonations. The good cause in question confirms this payment to you and discusses options for publication.
